This Privacy Policy explains how PlanarNest (“we”, “us”) collects and uses information when you use our website and desktop application (“PlanarNest”).
1) Information we collect
a) Purchase & licensing information (via Lemon Squeezy)
When you purchase PlanarNest, our payment provider Lemon Squeezy processes your payment and provides us with information such as:
- purchase email
- order/transaction details
- license/activation status
We do not store your full payment card details.
b) Support communications
If you contact us at contact@planarnest.com, we receive the information you provide (e.g., email address, message content, attachments).
c) Diagnostic reports (Case Reports / logs)
PlanarNest may generate diagnostic files to help improve stability and fix bugs. These may include:
- application version / OS information
- settings relevant to the job
- geometry needed to reproduce a bug (e.g., paths), depending on what you export
Upload behavior
- By default, case reports are not uploaded automatically.
- If you enable Auto-send in settings, PlanarNest may upload case reports to the configured endpoint.
2) How we use information
We use the information to:
- provide licensing and access to the software
- process refunds and resolve purchase issues
- respond to support requests
- diagnose bugs and improve the software (when reports are provided or uploaded)
3) Sharing
We share information only with:
- Lemon Squeezy (payment processing / licensing)
- service providers strictly necessary to operate the product (if any)
We do not sell your personal information.
4) Data retention
We retain information only as long as needed for:
- licensing and transaction records
- support and troubleshooting
- legal/accounting obligations
5) Your choices
- You can choose whether to export/share diagnostic files.
- You can keep Auto-send off (default) to avoid automatic uploads.
